CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Hatha Yoga: This Intermediate Level class concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation techniques (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.
HIIT-Cardio-Strength: An Intermediate-Advanced total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This high intensity interval-based class combines weights, body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind.
Kickboxing : Come and participate in an exclusive preview of our new Summer Class, Kickboxing. This is an intermediate-advance class that does not require previous martial arts training. Build lean muscle mass, burn calories, boost metabolism, increase muscular and cardiovascular endurance. Strengthen your core & develop self-awareness through the teaching of basic punching and kicking techniques, interlocked with conditioning and the use of bodyweight, weights and other equipment. Bringing your own boxing gloves is highly recommended.
A Walk in the Park Workshop: In this workshop you will achieve an understanding of what it means to be fit and how to achieve it. You will learn fitness tips, application of different fitness principles to apply to your own exercise regime, or to create one that suits your lifestyle. Along this conversation you will break free of the myths of fitness that might be holding you back from starting your fitness journey. This is an outdoor class that takes advantage of the beautiful green space that surrounds the RSC; in an hour walk it applies all the contents of this amazing workshop. Join us in this life changing gathering about fitness.
HIIT Yoga: Join us in a one-of-a-kind class that will debut this summer; experience the balance point between cardio and yoga. This is an all-levels class for which the instructor will adapt the exercises to the skill of each participant. Participate in a full body strength workout, free of equipment with the flow of yoga and bursts of cardio to upbeat music.
OUTDOOR BALL HOCKEY
It’s time to bust out your hockey sticks and show us what you got! Registration is FREE. Advanced registration is required, however if space is available on the date drop-ins are welcome.

BEACH TENNIS
Come check out Ottawa’s hottest new summer sport, beach tennis! Beach Tennis offers a highly aerobic cardio workout with low impact to the knees and joints because it is played on sand. The sport preserves most of the rules and scoring of traditional tennis, though modifications have been made to adapt to movement around the sand court and faster pace of the game.

THE BRIDGE PUBLIC HOUSE

The Bridge Public House (our restaurant) will be launching our new Spring Menu this weekend under the care of our AMAZING NEW Executive Chef John Kim. John comes to us from Sterling, Eighteen, Beckta, Aiana – we are so lucky to have him! The Bridge Public House will be evolving into a Gastro Pub with artisanal, scratch cooking, local-focused, healthy and delicious food. KIDS KORNER
Of course there will also be many fun activities for all the kiddos out there including a Smash Cage, face painting, and more! Check them out on-site between 10:00am – 1:00pm.
