No one likes stiff hips and shoulders, especially as a racquet sport player. The RSC Tennis and Fitness Departments have joined forces to create a unique 4 week pre-paid Hip and Shoulder Mobility Program for racquet sport enthusiasts. This program will help you to improve your game and the overall health of your shoulder and hip joints. Increasing the mobility of your hips and shoulders will also provide benefit to your elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle joints. .

The shoulder and hip joints require a delicate balance of strength, mobility and care to meet the demands of tennis and other racquet related sports. The more you play, the importance of building strong, resilient and mobile shoulders and hip joints grows.

Our program will focus on:

  1. Increasing the range of motion of the shoulder and hips
  2. Increasing the flexibility, stability, symmetry and strength of the shoulders and hips
  3. Teaching the participants easy to do at home maintenance exercises

This program has been designed by our Fitness and Yoga Manager in collaboration with our two course instructors, Tara McDougall and Chelsea Passmore. The program will cost $399 and includes two sessions a week for four weeks and a set of exercise bands. Whether you are a recreational or competitive athlete, this program is for you.
