The Rideau Sports Centre Tennis Academy continues to demonstrate exceptional player development, with an impressive group of athletes qualifying for the upcoming Ontario and Quebec Provincial Championships.
These results reflect the hard work, discipline, and commitment our athletes bring to the court every single day. Competing at the provincial level is a significant milestone. The Provincial Championships feature the top 32 players in the entire province within each respective age category. Entry is ranking-based, and athletes who do not gain direct acceptance must compete through a qualifying draw to earn their place. Simply qualifying is an outstanding accomplishment.

Elise Chen Advances to U14 Indoor National Championships
A special congratulations to Elise Chen for her outstanding performance at the Quebec U14 Provincial Championships, where she reached the singles final and captured the doubles title.
With this achievement, Elise has qualified for the upcoming U14 Indoor National Championships in Vancouver. The pathway to Nationals is demanding. Players must compete in Selection 1, Selection 2, and the Provincial Championships. From there, the province selects the top eight athletes to represent Quebec. Elise finished ranked number one in Quebec, earning her well-deserved place at Nationals.
Sienna Manashe Wins U18 National Selections
We also celebrate Sienna Manashe, who recently won the Girls U18 National Selections at just 16 years old. Competing and winning in an older age category highlights her competitive maturity, resilience, and high-performance mindset.
A Culture of Excellence
These accomplishments reflect more than individual results. They represent the culture of excellence, accountability, and community that defines the Rideau Sports Centre Tennis Academy.
We are incredibly proud of these athletes and look forward to cheering them on at Provincials and Nationals. If you see them around the club, please join us in congratulating them on their achievements.
The future is bright at the Rideau Sports Centre Tennis Academy.
