We know things have been difficult lately, but here at RSC we’re inviting you to stay connected, stay inspired, and stay well this month with our variety of fitness and wellness activities including; virtual fitness classes, snow-tennis, and outdoor firepits. 

 

Try snow tennis for free this Sunday, January 23 rd 2022 at our Snow Tennis Open House! 

 

Snow tennis is Ottawa’s newest winter sport, and we’re blazing the trail at RSC. If you’ve ever wondered what snow tennis is all about, we’re hosting an open house on Sunday January 23 rd for you to try it. Snow tennis is the winter version of beach tennis. Played with a paddle and depressurized tennis ball, the game follows the same rules as tennis except there’s no bounce and no second serves. It’s easy to pick up and play, a ton of fun, and a great workout. 

Our open house will give the whole family a chance to try it out and embrace the outdoors! We will have activities set up for people of all ages and tennis ability. 

There are three different time slots that you can register for starting at 12 pm. Each time slot is one hour long and will include 30 minutes on the snow tennis court and 30 minutes warming up at the fire pits with drink and food service from The Bridge Public House. 

Our snow tennis coaches will be on site to organise the games and give you tips as you play. Everything will be outdoors and safe but masks are recommended.

OUTDOOR FIRE PITS 

Stay safe and stay social by reserving one of our private outdoor firepits. It’s a great way to stay connected with your family and friends while enjoying a sweet treat (or a salty one if that’s more your vibe). Fire-pits are available to be reserved daily.
