Hot Yoga Protocol: Please Follow Our Instructors’ Suggestions

Both RSC Yoga Studios, Regular and Hot, have become so popular in recent weeks.  To make the classes more enjoyable for everyone, please read through our Yoga Etiquette.

All Visitors to RSC Yoga Studio:

  • PLEASE don’t be late. First timers should arrive 20 minutes before class begins to register and sign a waiver form. All other attendees should arrive 5 to 15 minutes before class.
  • Reception will direct First Timers to the Sun Yoga Studio, the water fountain, and to the women’s/men’s change rooms and showers.
  • Please bring: a yoga mat, a large bath towel to place on your mat, a lock to store your personal belongings in a locker and a litre-size bottle of water.
  • Place your towel and mat in the Sun Room behind one of the dots and place your class card near the front of your mat
  • Once the class has begun, you will NOT be allowed into the room. If you are late, you will need to come back to another scheduled class.
  • Mop up any puddles of sweat from your class using the squeegee mop in the corner of the room. Place your dripping wet towels and mat in a large plastic bag when you come out of the room; please do not allow sweat to drip onto the hallway or change room floors.
  • No mobile devices in the Sun Room.
  • Be quiet in the Sun Yoga Studio. Treat it as a silent space.

Useful tips:

  • Drink water BEFORE coming to class so that you are not dehydrated. Start at least two hours before class, or the night before.
  • Do not eat one to two hours before the start of class. A piece of fruit, however, would be fine.
  • Form-fitting and stretchy clothing is best.
