RSC Hosting Ottawa City Championships: August 19 – 25

The 2019 NCTA City Championships are taking place August 17th to 25th this summer at the OTLBC (August 17-18) and RSC (August 19-25). Entry fee is $50 and includes 2 matches guaranteed, a beverage, and a tournament t-shirt (2 beverages and 2 T-shirts for doubles). The tournament is a culmination of summer tennis in the Ottawa region and everyone is welcome to take part. Come and join us at RSC either to play or to watch.

Registration deadlines are:

  • Wednesday, August 14th for Singles
  • Friday, August 16th for Doubles

Register today in singles and/or doubles by visiting See you on the courts!

We will be hosting the Cities on Court 1-4 and Courts 5-7 will be available for Pass Holders. Weekdays the Cities begin after 4pm. Daytime courts are unaffected, and we wanted Pass Holder Court Booking access on 3 of the 7 courts in the evenings. Weekends the Cities will be all day, however elimination will free up courts.

RSC Summer Pass Holders will be able to book Indoor Tennis Courts for FREE online or by calling RSC 613.749.6126.  If you are playing with a Walk-On in your group, there will be no fee to them either – for simplicity sake.

If however it rains during the tournaments, the indoor court bookings will be cancelled (just as if it were raining on the clay courts) – so that the tournament can move inside to play.

Re-Cap Ontario Open at RSC August 2-5: Congratulations to the Winners!

For the 2nd consecutive year, RSC was so happy to host the Ontario Open last weekend, what a treat to watch such high calibre tennis right here on our own courts. The players – including some professionals – came from all across Canada to compete for national rankings. See below for a few highlight photos: Women’s and Men’s Finals and Trophy Ceremony.

We look forward to being part of this national event again next year.
